"Time to Program Your GPS: Growth, Progress, Success"

The goal of the Staff Council Professional Development Mini-Conference is to provide a day of free professional development to over 300 IU Indianapolis staff members to advance their professional identity, knowledge, and contacts. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Empowering Career Navigation
    • Extend attendees’ understanding of resources, explore new theories or tools, and provide actionable strategies to support career development and growth.
    • Focus: Content suitable for staff at all career levels
  • Inspiring Action and Learning
    • Use innovative presentation formats to deliver memorable “ah-ha” moments, inspire transferable learning, and motivate attendees to take action.
    • Focus: Interactive and impactful sessions designed to resonate with participants.
  • Building Skills and Enthusiasm
    • Provide opportunities to refresh interest and enthusiasm for managing a successful career while in a safe environment to encourage participation, networking, and learning.
    • Focus: Create a safe and engaging environment that encourages active participation.

This year's conference theme is "Time to Program Your GPS: Growth, Progress, Success" and will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 in the Campus Center.
